Code of Conduct
Training program participants are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, courtesy and respect for others and maintain a prominent level of professionalism at all learning experiences, whether officially sponsored by Black and Brew Chicago, Inc. or not. All attendees, speakers, sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and staff at any All About Craft Beer Training Programs are required to observe the following Code of Conduct.
Black and Brew Chicago, Inc. provides a harassment-free training experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of training attendees in any form. All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for the training program.
Be kind to others. Do not insult or defame participants. Harassment in any form, sexist, racist, or exclusionary jokes are not condoned.
Participants violating these rules may be asked to leave the training at the sole discretion of Black and Brew Chicago, Inc. Thanks for helping to make this a welcoming training program for all.
Waiver
As a condition of this training program, participants waive any claim against Black and Brew Chicago, Inc., officers, directors, employees, or agents, or against the presenters or speakers, for reliance on any information presented and release Black and Brew Chicago, Inc. from and against all liability for damage or injury that may arise from participation or attendance at the training program. Attendees understand and agree that all property rights in the material presented, including common law copyright, are expressly reserved to the presenter, speaker or to Black and Brew Chicago, Inc. Participation in Black and Brew Chicago, Inc. brings some risk and participants hereby assume responsibility for their own well-being. If another individual attends in the place of the original registrant, per Black and Brew Chicago, Inc. transfer policy, the new registrant agrees to this disclaimer and waiver by default of transfer.
Photo Licensing
Black and Brew Chicago, Inc intends to take photographs and video of this training programs for use in Black and Brew Chicago, Inc. news and promotional material, in print, electronic and other media, including the Black and Brew Chicago, Inc. website. By participating in this training, I grant Black and Brew Chicago, Inc. the right to use any image, photograph, voice, or likeness, without limitation, in its promotional materials and publicity efforts without compensation. All media become the property of Black and Brew Chicago, Inc. Media may be displayed, distributed, or used by Black and Brew Chicago, Inc. for any purpose.
